Getting Started With Tool #1

Wow my eyes have been opened!! I have officially arrived into the "world of blogs"!! This has been a learning experience with easy to follow instructions AND it was fun! Well the Voki was fun to do!!! I am looking forward to seeing how many different ways we will be able to use blogs in a prek setting!! Let's see what Tool #2 holds for us!!

  1. I think you will be pleasesd with how many of the tools can be used in a prek classroom...maybe not the kids themselves using them (although there are some tools they can play with) but tools you and the other teachers can use in learning situations.
I look forward to all the ideas you and your community discover and create!

  2. Dear Troy,

    Welcome to blogging!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment for Gal on our class blog. Our school year is over, but many of the kids come back to the blog...so Gal just might comment back to you! :-)

I think you will find many ways to incorporate blogging in your prek classroom.

I like to embed videos from my classroom...maybe record them singing or saying new letters and sounds. The possibilities are endless.

    Have fun!

  3. At first, I was having difficulty thinking of ways that the kids could blog in Pre K. I thought it was great for using to connect with parents about what was going on in the classroom, but now thanks to hearing ideas from other teachers-embedding video of the class and creating their own avatars-I can't wait to try some of these things.
